Cashhive — Points & Rewards Policy

Version: 0.1-beta · Last updated: 2026-08-11 · Effective date: [NOT YET IN FORCE]

This policy is part of the Cashhive Terms of Service and governs everything about coins: how they are earned, held, reversed, redeemed, and expired. Fraud-related deductions are governed by the Fraud & Enforcement Policy; data handling by the Privacy Policy.

This is the document we ask you to hold us to. The commitments here — the fixed rate, prospective-only changes, bounded holds, clawback limits, and dormancy warnings — are deliberate and public.

1. What Coins Are (and Are Not)

  1. Coins are a promotional loyalty unit we credit when you complete surveys and offers on Cashhive.
  2. Coins are not money, not e-money, not deposits, and bear no interest.
  3. Coins are not transferable — they cannot be sent, sold, gifted, or pooled between users or accounts. There is no way to buy coins; you can never deposit money into Cashhive.
  4. Coins have no cash value except as redeemed through the Service under this policy.
  5. There are no chance-based mechanics: no wagering of coins, no gambling wheels, no coin multipliers based on luck. Every earning action has a stated, fixed coin reward.

2. The Fixed Exchange Rate

1,000 coins = $1.00 USD. Always.

  1. This rate is fixed and published here, on the site footer, and on every cashout screen. Every offer shows its reward in coins, and the USD equivalent is always the coin amount ÷ 1,000.
  2. There is one rate for everyone — no VIP tiers with different redemption rates, no rate differences between payout methods. (Gift-card options may occasionally include partner-funded bonuses on top; the base rate never goes below 1,000 = $1.00.)
  3. For non-USD payout options, the USD value converts at the payout partner's (Tremendous) rate at processing time, disclosed before you confirm.

3. Changes to Rates Are Prospective Only

  1. If we ever change the exchange rate or the coin rewards structure, the change applies only to coins earned after the effective date.
  2. Coins already in your account — pending or confirmed — keep the value at which they were earned. We will never devalue an existing balance.
  3. We will announce any such change at least 30 days in advance by email and in-app banner.
  4. The same prospective-only, 30-day-notice rule applies to material changes to this policy itself, including hold windows and dormancy rules (Section 9).

4. Earning and Crediting

  1. Offers and surveys are supplied by our partners (ayeT-Studios, Torox, CPX Research, BitLabs) and their advertisers. Each offer shows, before you start: the coin reward, the completion requirements, and its hold window (Section 5).
  2. When a partner reports your completion, coins are credited to your account as pending or directly as confirmed, per the hold table below.
  3. Pending coins count toward your displayed balance but cannot be cashed out until confirmed. Your account history labels every entry (pending / confirmed / reversed) with the offer, date, and amount.
  4. If a completed offer is not credited, use the in-app missing credit flow (include your completion evidence, e.g., screenshots). We will raise it with the partner; partner/advertiser decisions control crediting, but you can always escalate to [email protected] and the appeal rights in the Fraud & Enforcement Policy apply.

5. Hold (Pending) Windows by Offer Type

Holds exist because advertisers can reverse ("scrub" or charge back) conversions after they are reported. We size holds to the real reversal risk of each offer type — and we cap them.

Offer type Crediting Maximum hold before confirmed
Standard surveys (low value) Credited within hours of partner confirmation 7 days
Survey packs / profiling surveys Credited within hours 14 days
App installs and simple tasks (single step) On advertiser confirmation, typically 1–3 days 14 days
Multi-step app offers (reach level X, trial signup) Per milestone, as advertiser confirms each step 30 days
High-value offers: deposit, purchase, or subscription offers On advertiser confirmation 45 days

Rules that apply across the table:

  1. 45 days is the absolute maximum hold for any offer on Cashhive. If an offer would require a longer window, we either don't list it or absorb the risk ourselves.
  2. The specific hold for each offer is shown on the offer card before you start. If the card and this table conflict, the shorter period applies.
  3. When the hold ends without a reversal, coins are confirmed automatically — no action needed.
  4. Holds under this section are about advertiser confirmation. Investigation holds for suspected fraud are separate, bounded at 30 days, and governed by the Fraud & Enforcement Policy §7.

6. Advertiser Reversals and Clawback Rules

Sometimes an advertiser or partner rejects a conversion after reporting it (examples: duplicate conversion, failed attribution, survey response rejected for quality, deposit refunded/charged back). Our clawback rules:

  1. Reversals deduct only the pending coins credited for the reversed offer. They do not touch coins from other offers.
  2. Your balance never goes below zero. If a reversal exceeds the pending coins from that offer (e.g., part was already confirmed because the partner reported late), we deduct at most your remaining pending balance from that offer and absorb the difference ourselves — unless the reversal resulted from your fraud or abuse (e.g., depositing and charging back), in which case the Fraud & Enforcement Policy forfeiture rules apply instead.
  3. Confirmed coins are safe from ordinary reversals. Once the hold window passes and coins are confirmed, a later advertiser scrub is our loss, not yours (same fraud exception as above).
  4. Every reversal is documented: your account history shows the offer, the reversed amount, the date, and the reason category reported by the partner (e.g., "advertiser rejected — duplicate"). We keep partner reversal records so we can show our work on appeal.
  5. If you believe a reversal is wrong, use the missing-credit flow or appeal within 30 days (see Fraud & Enforcement Policy §9).

7. Cashouts

  1. Minimum: $5.00 USD (5,000 coins) per cashout. Any fee for a specific payout method is shown before you confirm — no surprise fees; PayPal and standard gift cards currently have no user fee.
  2. Methods: delivered via Tremendous — PayPal balance and a catalog of gift cards. Cryptocurrency (e.g., LTC/BTC) is planned later; when enabled, it will be delivered via a licensed third-party processor, the conversion value will be locked at processing time, network fees will be disclosed before you confirm, and some regions (e.g., New York) may be excluded. [LAWYER: crypto payout review per checklist §6 before enabling]
  3. Timeline: cashouts are reviewed and released typically within 24–72 hours. Your first cashout may take up to 5 business days because of identity verification (KYC — see below). If a cashout will be delayed beyond these windows, we notify you with a reason.
  4. Verification: at your first cashout we verify your account (email/phone, payout destination in your own name, duplicate-account screen). At $200 cumulative payouts, or upon risk signals, we require ID verification through our KYC processor. At $2,000 cumulative payouts per calendar year (US users), tax forms (W-9/W-8) may be required — see Terms of Service §11.
  5. Velocity limits: per-user daily/weekly cashout caps may apply and are shown on the cashout screen. These are anti-fraud circuit breakers, not a way to trap balances — confirmed coins remain yours and redeemable.
  6. Sanctions screening: payouts are screened against sanctions requirements (see Fraud & Enforcement Policy §10). We cannot pay out to excluded territories or sanctioned persons.
  7. Payout destinations must belong to you (Terms §7.6). Once Tremendous confirms delivery, the corresponding coins are redeemed and cannot be re-issued; if a payout fails (e.g., wrong PayPal email), the coins return to your confirmed balance.

8. Errors and Mistaken Credits

If a technical error credits coins you did not earn (e.g., a duplicated postback), we may correct the ledger. Corrections follow the same transparency rules as reversals: itemized in your history, with a stated reason, never taking your balance below zero, and appealable. Cashouts already delivered against a good-faith balance will not be clawed back absent fraud.

9. Dormancy and Expiry

We think coin expiry traps are the ugliest pattern in this industry, so ours is deliberately conservative:

  1. Coins never expire while your account is active. Any of the following counts as activity: logging in, earning, or cashing out.
  2. Only after 12 consecutive months of no activity do coins become eligible for expiry.
  3. Before any expiry we send two email warnings: one at ~10 months of inactivity and one at ~11.5 months (at least 14 days before expiry). Simply logging in resets the clock.
  4. If your confirmed balance is at or above the $5.00 minimum at the dormancy deadline, the second warning will invite you to cash out instead; expiry only proceeds if you still take no action.
  5. Expired coins are removed from the ledger and logged. If you return within 90 days after expiry and the removal was our error (e.g., warnings demonstrably not delivered due to our fault), we will restore the balance.
